What we can help with

Four areas of law, explained in plain words. If your problem doesn't fit neatly into one of them, call us anyway. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help.

1.1

Immigration Law

Visas, applications, appeals and sponsorship.

Whether you want to come to the UK, stay longer or bring family here, we'll help you get the application right first time. If you've been refused, we'll look at whether an appeal makes sense. We also help employers apply for and keep a sponsor licence.

Sponsor licence: permission from the Home Office that lets a UK employer hire skilled workers from abroad.

1.2

Housing Law

Tenancy disputes, evictions, disrepair, landlord and tenant matters.

Housing problems get stressful fast. If you've been given notice, your home is in poor repair, or a rent or deposit dispute won't go away, we'll explain your rights and your next step. We act for tenants and landlords.

Disrepair: when a landlord hasn't fixed problems they're responsible for, such as damp, leaks or broken heating.

1.3

Business Leases & Commercial Support

Lease drafting, review and renewals, plus practical help for small companies.

Taking on a shop, office or unit? We'll draft or check the lease, explain exactly what you're signing, and handle the renewal when it comes round. For small companies we also give basic business and accounting guidance, so you know your obligations and can plan ahead.

Break clause: a date set in a lease when you or your landlord can end it early.

1.4

Wills & Probate

Wills, probate and powers of attorney.

A clear will means the people you care about are looked after, with less to sort out later. When someone dies, we can deal with probate and the estate for you. We also set up lasting powers of attorney, so someone you trust can make decisions if you can't.

Probate: the legal right to deal with someone's money, property and belongings after they die.

Send an enquiry

This form doesn't send anything by itself. It writes an email to Trevor Griffin, who handles client intake, for you to check and send from your own email app.

A few lines is plenty. Please leave out passport numbers or other sensitive details for now.
